Director of EHCFN/ European Healthcare Fraud & Corruption Network
The EHCFN / European Healthcare Fraud and Corruption Network was founded in 2005 and is dedicated to combating fraud, corruption and waste in the healthcare sector across Europe. Annual conferences intend to exchange strategies, methodical approaches, successes and failures in the fight against fraud, corruption and waste.
Dr. Paul Vincke (criminologist by education) is Managing Director of EHCFN and Director of Staff at the National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (INAMI-RIZIV). P. Vincke has worked extensively on the EHFCN Waste Typology ©: a categorization of waste by abuse, misuse, fraud and corruption. His talk will be about the EHFCN Waste Typology ©, animated by examples from the Belgium health care system.
