Dr. Sabine Geiger-Gritsch has worked at the LBI-HTA (since March 2020 AIHTA GmbH) from 2007 to 2010 and from 2018 to 2019. She is the deputy director of the institute and leads the Drug Evaluation Domain. Scientifically, she works primarily on projects in the field of high-tech medicine and/or with an oncological focus. After completing her master's degree in pharmacy (University of Innsbruck), she worked in the hospital pharmacy at Innsbruck University Hospital, primarily in the field of clinical pharmacy and drug information. After completing her doctorate in medical sciences at the Medical University of Innsbruck, she studied health sciences at the private university UMIT in Hall in Tyrol. She worked as a researcher and project manager at the UMIT and the LBI-HTA and has several years of professional experience in the field of clinical epidemiology and evidence-based decision support in the hospital sector (Tirol Kliniken GmbH, Wiener Gesundheitsverbund).
