Eva Malikova joined AIHTA in 2024 as a research associate in the field of pharmacy. She completed her master's and PhD studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, where she started as a post-doc in 2016, doing pre-clinical research in pulmonary arterial hypertension. She has worked as a pre-clinical and clinical assessor at the State Institute for Drug Control in Slovakia for 8 years, assessing marketing authorizations of drugs. During this time she has also served as a member in the Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products in the European Medicines Agency. Additionally, she has been an alternate in the Committee for Human Medicinal Products and a member of the Scientific Advice Working Party.
