Alcohol health warning labels (HWLs) are a low-intrusiveness public health measure aiming to inform consumers about alcohol-related health risks, including several cancer types. This report evaluated the effectiveness of different HWL designs regarding health-related outcomes: HWLs versus no HWL and different HWL types (text-only, text-and-pictogram, text-and-image and image-only) versus one another, and contextualised the findings for Austria using the WHO-INTEGRATE Framework. The target population comprised the general population.
