AIHTA analyses upcoming cancer medicines and identifies therapies with the potential to significantly impact healthcare delivery and expenditure in the hospital sector.

Which new cancer medicines are on the horizon, and which emerging therapies could have the greatest impact? The AIHTA Oncology Pipeline Monitor offers a structured overview of oncology medicines expected to receive EU marketing authorisation within the next two years. Drawing on data from the International Horizon Scanning Initiative (IHSI), the report examines the evolving oncology treatment landscape, from novel therapeutic approaches to established therapies expanding into new indications. It also identifies 20 medicines with potentially significant implications for Austria’s hospital sector, supporting Austrian decision-makers in anticipating emerging clinical developments and their potential impact on healthcare delivery and budgets.
